Today was slow. TGIF were my sentiments exactly! After school, however, I was fortunate enough to attend what my school calls "The Amazing Annual Cultural Journey!". Basically, it is a collaboration of several different booths with information on a variety of countries, cultures, et cetera. There are games, music, dancing, and FOOOOOD! lol Then after "touring the globe", simply take your seat and watch the spectacular performances that range from poetry to skits to songs, dances and more. It doesnt get better than that :)
Then again, my amazing skills as a spotlight technician sure enhanced the performances for our public, and in that fact i am proud :) haha Is it sad that i consider shining a blinding light on the faces of innocent performers the highlight of my day? ......NAHHH! :D
But in all seriousness, it was pretty fun. I thought the colored lights i chose for each performance choreographed well with the rest of the show, and i really felt almost like i was helping them, in their own ways, shine the brightest :) *COUGH!* bad pun! *COUGH!* haha
